The Catfishing

Ok where to start...the fishing here is nothing like you'll experience in the UK or France. These are untamed waters with wild untamed inhabitants lurking in the depths. The main quarry for most anglers visiting Spain is mighty Wels Catfish. These fish are indescribably strong. They are capable of making even the biggest men wonder how strong they really are! When your face to face with a fish which is on average over 6 feet in length, most of this being tail and muscle, you can see why so many anglers come here to experience the thrill and adrenaline pumping action the Ebro has to offer. Fishing in calm deep pools, giant bays and beautiful eddy's. One moment your relaxing in the boat enjoying the great weather... then all hell breaks loose! Reels screaming, rods that look like they would never bend are bent over double under the strain of a possible 100Ibs+ fish. The fishing here really is diverse and no day is ever the same. 

The Carp Fishing

The Carp fishing here really can be exciting stuff. 99% of the fish have never seen a hook so the action can be thick and fast. We admit that that likelihood of any records being broken are slim (although the rivers first 50 came from just upstream of Tortosa), but when you do hook one of these fish your in for a fight, right to the net. We are constantly finding new swims, more and more that are inaccessible by car and even by foot meaning we put in your swim by boat. We can pre-bait swims for you a few days prior to you arrival so as to keep the fishing fresh and interesting. Short trips to Mequinenza are also available. Mequinenzais the fishing Mecca of Spain. 2006 and will see us fishing there allot more targeting the big Carp.

Tackle & Licence's

All tackle, bait and equipment is provided by us. All the equipment is of the highest standard, Fox Rods, Abu Multipliers and Shimano Big Pit Reels. All we ask is that you bring your end tackle for the Carp fishing. To fish in Spain you need a fishing licence which we will obtain for you for a small fee prior to your arrival.
